Second Annual Meeting
of the
Tennessee Society of Student Pharmacists (TSSP)
The Voice of Student Pharmacists in Tennessee

February 20, 2010
Burton Health Sciences Building, Lipscomb College of Pharmacy
Nashville, Tennessee

It takes more than pharmacy school to make a pharmacist.  Attend TSSP’s Annual Meeting and find out how you can make a difference in your chosen profession.  One of the most valuable aspects of this meeting is the unparalleled opportunity for networking.  While you have lots of educational opportunities at your school, none of them bring together over 125 student pharmacists from the five Tennessee colleges of pharmacy.  You live in a time when pharmacists-in-training are needed as leaders to effect change in pharmacy education and in the health care system you are soon to inherit.  This is your chance to network with peers and mentors from across the state who care about the same issues you care about.  The meeting will feature keynote speakers, interactive one-of-a-kind workshops, lots of pharmacy-related relationships and a number of networking opportunities.  This year, program topics include health care reform, legislative and regulatory updates, tools for achieving excellence, and more.  The day will close with a celebration at the Cadillac Ranch complete with music, karaoke, bull rides, food and drink.
