The APhA
Pharmacy-Based
Immunization
Delivery
certificate
training program
provided through
the Tennessee
Pharmacists
Research and
Education
Foundation (TPREF)
is a
practice-based
activity
conducted in two
parts – a
self-study
learning
component and a
live training
seminar. A
Certificate of
Achievement will
be awarded to
participants who
successfully
complete all
program
components.
This is an
innovative and
interactive
program designed
to meet state
regulations for
pharmacy-based
immunization
delivery. The
course will
prepare you to
administer
vaccines before
the upcoming flu
season and give
you the tools to
improve your
pharmacy
practice, both
professionally
and financially.
The Immunization
Delivery Program
is in two parts:
Self-Study
Component
Active (live)
Learning
Component
Course handbooks
that contain
materials for
both the self
study component
and the live
seminar will be
provided to the
registrant prior
to the program.
The TPREF
reserves the
right to cancel
the
Pharmacy-Based
Immunization
Delivery Program
and the CPR
Course if the
required number
of participants
is not met by
July 12, 2010.
