Presented by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the Tennessee Pharmacists Research and Education Foundation (TPREF).
An innovative and interactive practice-based educational program, the “Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery” Certificate Program provides pharmacists with the skills necessary to become primary sources for vaccine advocacy, education, and administration. The program teaches the basics of immunology and focuses on practice implementation and legal/regulatory issues.

There are three components to the certificate training program:

  • 12 hours (1.2 CEU) of self-study modules with case studies and assessment exam
  • 8.0 hours (0.8 CEU) live seminar with final exam
  • Hands-on assessment of intramuscular and subcutaneous injection technique
