2023 TPA Winter Meeting: Call for Innovative Practice Pearl Presenters, Poster Abstracts, and Session Presenters
SUBMISSIONS FOR TPA’S 2023 WINTER MEETING ARE CLOSED.
The TPA and TSHP Programming and Education Committee Chairs, James Wheeler and Amy Hodgin, invite you to consider sharing your knowledge with pharmacy professionals during the TPA Winter Meeting in Nashville from February 25th-28th, 2023.
If you would like to present an educational session (60 minutes or longer) or suggest someone else as a possible speaker, please submit information below.
If you are a pharmacy resident/fellow or practitioner in your first 5 years of practice and would like to present an Innovative Practice Pearl, pleasesubmit a proposal below.
If you are a student pharmacist, pharmacy resident/fellow or practitioner in your first 5 years of practice and would like to showcase your research with a poster presentation, please submit a poster abstract below.
The deadline for all submissions is Thursday, December 15, 2022.

INNOVATIVE PRACTICE PEARLS PRESENTATIONThis program provides pharmacy residents/fellows and new practitioners in their first 5 years of practice the opportunity to present an ACPE-accredited, 15-minute Innovative Practice Pearl of their choice.If you are a potential presenter, please submit your information using the link below. If you can identify a potential presenter that you would recommend to the Committee, please forward this information to him or her. All information must be submitted by Thursday, December 15, 2022.Practice Pearl presenters will receive a complimentary full meeting registration for the TPA Winter Meeting. In the event that more potential presenters are identified than spots are available, Committee members will vote to select the speakers. In that event, no names or affiliations will appear on the ballot, only the presentation topics.
POSTER PRESENTATIONThis opportunity allows posters to be on display during the TPA Winter Meeting, with dedicated time for meeting attendees to view posters and ask questions of the author. Poster presentations provide a fun and informal opportunity for student pharmacists, pharmacy residents/fellows, and new practitioners in their first 5 years of practice to share the work they are researching.Abstracts and posters will be made available to attendees electronically, and names of presenters will be published in the Tennessee Pharmacists Association Journal, Tennessee Pharmacist. One poster will be named ‘Best Poster’, and two posters will be named ‘Distinguished Poster’. All information must be submitted by Thursday, December 15, 2022.The first 10 submitted and accepted posters will receive a complimentary full meeting registration for the TPA Winter Meeting on Sunday, February 26, 2023. In the event that more potential posters are submitted than spots are available, Committee members will vote to select the posters.
