TPA Welcomes New Director of Programs and Events
The Tennessee Pharmacists Association is pleased to welcome our newest team member, BRITTANY JERNIGAN, who joins TPA as the Director of Programs and Events.
Brittany’s role will be to develop and deliver TPA’s many meetings and special events, as well as to coordinate with the Tennessee Pharmacists Consortium for Education (TPCE) Director, creating training and educational experiences that TPA members value and support.
“We’re delighted to welcome Brittany as the newest member of our team at TPA!” said Micah Cost, PharmD, TPA Executive Director. “She brings valuable insight and experience to this position, and her fresh perspective and innovative ideas will undoubtedly enhance the meetings and programs for our members and association supporters.”
Brittany attended the University of Mississippi, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in 2013. She comes to TPA with four years of experience in comprehensive event management. Most recently, she worked as an event associate for NYSE Governance Services, which provides governance, compliance and education solutions for companies and their board of directors. There, she worked to ensure successful execution of their slate of corporate governance events targeting C-level executives and board members of publicly traded companies.
“I am so excited for the opportunity to serve in this role at TPA. I intend to apply my experience and management skills to each event and look forward to building relationships with all of our members and other stakeholders,” Brittany said.
